Welcome to Albuquerque!!!

Oh the joys of living in the city.

Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
Wouldn't you know it? Our third day in our new home we could get a rock through a car window and stolen belongings? City life has officially begun.

But the very best part of it all is what they stole. This will kill you.

One basket.
My mission study journal.
One bag of nail polish.
My sewing machine.

Hopefully they enjoy a nice picnic, join the church, have really pretty fingernails, and sew themselves a dress.

Here's to hoping.

  1. Seriously that is hilarious. It had to be either a girl burglar, or it was some many, who has a wife with a birthday coming up.

  2. NO WAYYYY haha that is ridiculous! you must be in dire need of a DI out there if people are resorting to hand made outfits...

  3. Oh my gosh, Annie, I cannot believe the event of the day, your car got broken into? That is so sad, but probably a lesson hard learned to not ever leave anything of value in even a locked vehicle. So take that for what it's worth and be careful when you're out and about alone. I am so thrilled for your darling husband...he is just plain awesome..I watched his broadcasting link and yes, yes, yes, I can definitely see why he got such a great position..You two are going to be such an asset to the church there..What a lucky branch or ward..Good luck and God Bless in all of your new adventures..Just relax and enjoy the ride..Love You, Jan

  4. My mom told me your car got broken into...sigh. I am so sorry. I hope things are going well for you!
