I guess I'm having a hard time blogging because as I sit here in the comfort of my little apartment on the other end of this country several people have lost their lives and everyone else has lost everything material they ever owned in Joplin, Missouri.
It's hard to believe that happening right now, as I write this, is the largest air raid in Tripoli since the outrage broke out against Muammar Gaddafi.
More unbelievable still is the Utah mother who would sell her daughter's virginity for $10,000.
I guess that my T-shirt refashion, thoughts on weight watchers, and the fact that I did more push ups today than I've done in years...maybe ever, just really don't matter right now.
Prayers for all previously mentioned people.
My life is simple and good.
Thanks to the big guy upstairs for my current simplicity.
xoxo
Thank you for those wise words.
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration to me. I love your sincerity. The things that you listed are terrible events, but their sorrow does not take away from your joy. It is not insensitive to count your blessings- so keep counting and being grateful for what you've been given in this life. And pray for those who are going through difficult times to feel the love of our Heavenly Father in their lives. None of our blessings are insignificant and it is counting them that gets us through the best and the worst times. You are wonderful.
